Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data Muvero (“we”) handles when you use this website and the Muvero app, why, and what you can ask of us.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, password (stored only as a hash), workspace name, role and preferences such as language and theme.
- Your content: recordings, links, text you paste, and everything made from them: transcripts, subtitles, summaries, articles, reels and voice-overs. Recordings can contain personal data about the people speaking.
- Billing data: plan, invoices, billing name and address, VAT number if you give one. Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see or store the full number.
- Usage and technical data: sign-in times, credit history, jobs you ran, and error reports from the app (the page, the error and your browser version) so we can fix problems.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
Why we use it
- To run the service you asked for: store your files, process jobs, show results (performance of our contract with you).
- To bill you and keep accounting records (contract and legal obligation).
- To keep the service secure and fix errors (our legitimate interest).
- To send service emails such as sign-in codes, invites and billing notices. We do not send marketing email without your consent.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your content to train AI models.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of providers, each only for its part of the service and under a data processing agreement:
- Hosting and database (Railway)
- File storage and content delivery (Cloudflare)
- Speech recognition on GPU servers (RunPod)
- Text generation and translation (OpenAI) and speech synthesis (Google)
- Service emails (Resend)
- Payments (Stripe)
The full list, with what each provider handles and where, is in our Data Processing Agreement.
Some of these providers are outside the European Economic Area. Where they are, the transfer is covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
How long we keep it
Your content stays until you delete it. When you ask us to close your workspace, we delete its content and account data within 30 days. Invoices and billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Failed uploads are deleted after 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict its use, and take it to another service. Most of this you can do yourself in the app: edit your profile, export your transcripts and projects, delete projects. For anything else write to privacy@muvero.app; we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and staff access to customer data is limited, protected by two-factor authentication and logged.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before the change applies.
